DESIGN WEEK LITHUANIA is an annual design fiesta that takes place in six different cities of Lithuania – Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipėda, Šiauliai, Telšiai, Anykščiai – and so far is the biggest design event in the country. This year festival will be held for the 12th time, on the first week of May, 2017. During the festival visitors are invited to participate in workshops, check various design expositions, participate in conferences and meet designers from other countries. As for participants – a great chance to present their latest work is provided as well as a good opportunity to keep up to date with recent design trends and market novelties. A nation-wide initiative of bringing designers of all kinds closer to people has planted its roots deeply in Kaunas, occupying numerous spaces all around town to celebrate Lithuanian talent for one week every year.
