The UCCN Secretariat is pleased to announce the launch of its 2023 Call for Applications. Interested cities from all UNESCO Member States and Associate Members are invited to submit their applications by 30 June 2023 (11:59 pm CET).

In an effort to promote a balanced geographical representation within the Network, the specific Cooperation Framework to facilitate city-to-city cooperation between current member cities and applicant cities from under-represented regions, notably Africa and the Arab States, and current member cities in the preparation of their application, as well as in the eventual implementation of their proposed action plan will be continued for the 2023 Call for Applications.
Expressions of interest from applicant cities to engage in the Cooperation Framework shall reach UNESCO no later than 3 April 2023.
