Posted on: 23. March 2026

Geelong Design Week 2026 will take place from 1–11 October 2026, celebrating the breadth, depth and impact of design across the city and wider region.

The program spans a wide range of design disciplines, including architecture, sustainability, product and digital design, fashion, service and communication design, as well as interior and landscape design. The event will feature exhibitions, talks, workshops and public activations that connect industry professionals with the broader community.

A key highlight of the 2026 program is the inaugural Victorian Regional Design Fair 2026 (1–4 October), to be held at the newly opened Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre. The Fair will present the Geelong Design Trade Showcase, Victorian Regional Design Exhibition, Design Pop-Up Shop, and a curated program of talks and panel discussions—further positioning Geelong as a leading regional design capital in Victoria.

Expressions of Interest are now open for individuals, studios, organisations and partners interested in presenting work, hosting events, contributing to talks or collaborating on projects as part of the 2026 program.
