For the third time, the award for creative interior-design by the Austrian furniture manufacturer Neue Wiener Werkstätte (NWW) is again looking for creative and innovative furniture-designs and –ideas.
All national and international designers, architects, interior-designers and students can participate, the submission is free of charge. This year, the head of the international, independant jury will be the American designer Karim Rashid.

Prize
The winner receives funding worth 5,000 euros. If the winner is studying at university he/she receives a winner bonus of 2,000 euros. In addition, the first three winner’s projects will be realized at Neue Wiener Werkstätte. The projects submitted will be published on the website of NWW Design Award and also showcased in a travelling exhibition.
About NWW Design Award
With its NWW Design Award, the Austrian furniture manufacturer Neue Wiener Werkstaette has created a new design award that aims at being an ideas workshop for innovative designs in the area of interior design and wishes to present interior furnishing design at a high level, irrespective of commercial purposes, and it searches for trends and creative potential. The award is conferred by a prestigious panel of judges composed of international and national experts. The winning design will be awarded with a prize money, the three highest-placed entrants will be produced in prototypes and take part at many exhibitions and fairs.
