Theme:
Enabling young people to drive their own future, to become the self-motivated, problem solving, creative, self-employed or team workers that companies, organizations and the world at large are looking for.
–> Multi-level co-creation
How the case links to the UN sustainable development goal:
students learn that they can contribute to the world by working on creative solutions:
Goal 4. Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all
What Was Done:
More than ever before, our world will have to rely on new ideas, new concepts, new answers. And these come from people who are confident to use their imagination, to think outside of silos and to be inspired by the possibility to improve our society.
To enable children and students to learn how to do this, each network partner recruits participating primary, secondary and higher education institutes as well as supporting stakeholders outside of the education space; to ensure all children and students learn to be confident using their imagination to change their world for the better engaged by the power of possibility.
How Things Were Done:
- step 1: idea ≈ primary school children invent their dream machine.
- step 2: concept ≈ higher education students design a concept.
- step 3: prototype ≈ technical secondary students build a working prototype.
Target Level of Education:
different levels: primary, secondary and higher education
