Project Design Space

design and innovation program for high school students and teachers

Project

Project Design Space (PDS) is a design and innovation program for high school students and teachers in the GCC and beyond, launched by DIDI to empower youth and educators with design thinking skills. Unlike other STEM and innovation programs, PDS stands out by giving participants the chance to solve real-world problems for actual clients, including multinational corporations, government entities, and non-profits. Teachers are trained to teach design and innovation, while students gain hands-on experience in design thinking, problem-solving, prototyping, teamwork, and pitching. This holistic approach helps students develop practical and soft skills, preparing them to create impactful solutions for the future.

Mission

Project Design Space succeeds by guiding students through a structured design process—analysis, ideation, prototyping, and pitching—over 8 months. Participants tackle real challenges from major organizations like adidas and WWF, culminating in a final event where they present solutions to industry experts, fostering creativity and innovation.
