The ninth edition of the Biennale Internationale Design Saint-Étienne will present an international selection of objects, services, installations and environments. The theme of 2015 is “The Menaing of Beauty”. Different concepts of beauty are presented and questioned. Which meaning and influence have forms on functions, on the usage and on the quality of life? Which values are transported through aesthetics and with which aim? The visitors shall experience the various design opportunities that are possible within an aesthetic debate.
