The second edition of Covilhã Creative Week will take place from 8th and 14th November and is one of the main milestones in the municipal cultural agenda for 2023 and in the Action Plan for Covilhã, UNESCO Creative City of Design.
The highlight will be EntreTecido, and exhibition curated by one of the Covilhã’s designers Vasco Pinho. The exhibition intends to highlight the work of designers and artists from the region: Ana Paula Almeida, Ana Rita Albuquerque, Diogo Fernandes, Fátima Nina, Filipe Carriço, Gonçalo Duarte, Jorge Mendes, Luís da Cruz, Patrícia Casteleiro and Telmo Martins.
The program is diverse and open to the community, focusing on activities directed towards participatory design, aiming at the improvement of urban planning and involving the local community in identifying problems and needs, promoting a more creative and sustainable regeneration.
