This November 2-4, College for Creative Studies in Detroit will be hosting Design for Adaptation, a 2022 Cumulus conference in partnership with Cumulus, the leading global association of art and design education and research. The conference will examine the many ways design can drive adaptation in behaviors, systems and environments to respond to the urgent and unprecedented impacts of climate change. We’re excited that we’ll also be collaborating with the Association of Independent Colleges of Art and Design (AICAD) on the conference. This is only the second time in 30 years that Cumulus has held one of its international design research conferences in the United States.
