This citywide event brings together designers and enthusiasts alike to celebrate Detroit’s role as a design capital.
As a UNESCO City of Design – the first city in the United States – the events and programs of the Detroit Design Festival will be exploring the ways in which design is shaping Detroit’s future. This year’s theme “Design is Everywhere” explores how design can impact and even change our perception of the world around us.
Signature events returning include: Eastern Market After Dark, Light Up Livernois, Youth Day, and an all-new Design Summit, and dozens of independent design happenings.
