The motto of the 13th Edition of the DMY International Design Festival Berlin is “Back to the Future”. This implies a step “back to the roots” while at the same time moving towards further development of the festival content. New exhibition moduli, a new internet address, more content and last but not least a change of location, all promise to make this year’s festival a very exciting event. With a new competition, DMY puts an increased focus on the new talent. The introduction of a professional visitors’ day aims to promote and enhance exchange within the design business. On site, design afficionados are offered the opportunity to purchase design objects in the DMYstore. A special focus is dedicated to Berlin as a design location.
The DMY International Design Festival is the most important non-subsidized event in the field of product design in Germany. Every year, national and international designers present their current products, prototypes, installations and projects.
