The Torino Design Weeks will be back from mid-September to the end of October with a calendar full of events, currently being defined. The project will see the involvement of local stakeholders who are in charge of promoting design, culture and creativity, alongside experts and guests from the international networks created by the City Council.

The scheduled events include the Torino stage of the international Automotive Project workshop (16 and 17 October), simultaneously with the European Mobility Lab and the Torino Mobility Living Lab, with the participation of representatives of the cities of Graz, Kortrijk, Detroit, Nagoya, Geelong and Saint- Étienne. A project in collaboration with the Mobility Area and the Sustainable City Lab of the Educational Area, the Polytechnic of Milan and other institutions.

Strategies and actions for the supply chain: an open meeting for the main players of the Turin design supply chain – companies, firms, professionals and trainers – gathered for an experience of mutual listening, exchange of ideas and sharing of perspectives.

National appointments organised by the City of Torino such as the Italian UNESCO Creative Cities meeting and an event organised together with the cities of Biella and Alba as part of the Arcipelago Festival.

The fifth edition of Utopian Hours, “The 1,000-minute city (The city is everywhere)”, taking place from 8 to 10 October, is the first international city-making festival in Italy curated by Torino Stratosferica.

Graphic Days® will be back in September with “Touch!”, an exhibition focusing on the reconnection between the senses in visual communication.

More online and offline appointments with the Circolo del Design will take place, inspired by the Humanising technology topic. The humanisation of technology is the great challenge that technological progress is facing from an ethical, economic, social and environmental point of view: how can design contribute to it?

Last but not least – exhibitions, meetings, shows, workshops, events, tours and itineraries created with the members of the Design Table.
