a modern way to enjoy fresh water

Photo: LUMBRE

The water bottle Botijo, made in Dolores Hidalgo, Guanajuato, Mexico, is inspired by the Spanish ‘Botijo’, an essential traditional container made from rustic clay, which keeps water fresh for a long time thanks to the porosity of the material. When it comes to shape and design, the Botijo is a reinterpretation of the classical Mexican ‘Jarrito’, a clay pitcher. The design includes also a glass and cup to serve crystal-clear fresh water.
