The Chipchilli Fruit Bowl by Silva Dufour is an everyday utensil, made of tropical wood. The designer was inspired by the shape of Mexican spinning tops, ball bearing toys, the Pirinola (a typical Mexican spinning top), and similar toys. The result is a round, wooden fruit bowl on three turned legs, that looks classy and yet playful at the same time. It makes you want to spin the object and see what happens to the fruits placed inside.
