literally a coffee stool

The project was inspired on that intimate moment we share every morning with that first cup of coffee. The designers decided to design a special place where you can think and contemplate, surrounded by the smell, the colors and the textures of coffee – everything that helps you to start a new day.
The Nero side stool are the result of a series of material experiments by the self-proclaimed coffee lover. It was made in collaboration with Muro Blanco, a concrete expert, which resulted in the unusual materiality of the stool: the brown, grainy tops of this stool are made from used coffee grounds that designer Xavier Loránd sourced from cafes near his design studio while the foot is made of conrete.
