Lukas Klingsbichel studio for design is an analytical design agency specialized in creating conscious, sustainable products. The pendant lamp Seedling is a sleek, compostable lamp which mimics the form of an opening seed capsule, making the viewer curious to spot the hidden light source. The materials used for the shade – European ash wood, natural waxes and oils and casein glue – are all compostable and so the “seed capsule” can become part of nature again. The fact that the luminaire radiates the light downwards makes the pendant light ideal for public areas and special venues.
